Happy Cells Bouncing off to Mexico!


Gill Hickman's painting "Happy Cells Bouncing" is heading off to Mexico City next month to the World Aids Conference. It features in the exhibition "DIGNITY" - artworks by people living with HIV. Gill was artist in residence at the Mildmay Hospital London last October.

New studio underway!

At the moment I am trying to convert my large shed into an artist’s studio. This task will include putting in double glazed windows and insulated walls, installing a skylight in the roof and putting in electricity. I will keep the blog posted with the latest developments.

Sara Sherwood goes to Greece


Sarah Sherwood is packing to go to Greece for a month to paint and soak up the local atmosphere to gain inner inspiration. She will visit the priests to learn more about Greek orthodox iconography and experiment with figurative work for a new exhibition with sculptor Steve Yeates venue to be confirmed when the work is completed. She will also be painting cityscapes of London that have been commissioned.

Find some inner peace with Lucinda Beatty's artwork

Her Buddha made entirely from the Guardian and wallpaper paste will have a final layer making a comment on current events and will stand alongside her beautiful angel filled with drawers containing all manner of fascinating objects.
