Skylark stand opens at Affordable Art Fair

The Affordable Art Fair's charity private view opened last night, and as usual, the aisles were packed to overflowing with people viewing works by more than 1,000 artists showing with about 120 galleries. The works of ten Skylark artists are on show in the marquee: Nicolette Carter, Saskia Ellis Holden, Veta Gorner, Gill Hickman, James Hobbs, Clare Johnson, Deana Lee, Eileen Martin, Liz Meier and Steve Yeates.

The fair opens to the public this morning with these opening hours:
Thursday 21 October 11am-9.30pm
Friday 22 October 11am-6pm
Saturday 23 October 11am-6pm
Sunday 24 October 11am-6pm

The Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park is coming soon, and Skylark Galleries are going to be there once more. More than 25,000 people come each year to the UK's leading showcase of contemporary art under £3,000. Running from 21-24 October, it is the perfect place to meet Skylark artists and find a great new piece of affordable work.

Skylark at the 10th Affordable Art Fair, London

Ten Skylark artists are heading to this year's Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park, London, SW11, which runs from Thursday 22-Sunday 25 October.

About 120 galleries from the UK and Europe are taking part in the fair, which focuses on contemporary art costing less than £3,000. The fair is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and usually attracts more than 20,000 visitors over its four days.

The Skylark artists showing at and attending the fair are Nicolette Carter, Michelle Elwell, Veta Gorner, Gill Hickman, James Hobbs, Saskia Ellis Holden, Clare Johnson, Liz Meier, Jenny Wiggins and Steve Yeates.

Skylark at the Affordable Art Fair

Skylark Gallery travels from London's South Bank to the Passenger Shed at Temple Meads, Bristol, this weekend as part of the popular Affordable Art Fair, running from Friday 15 May to Sunday 17 May. Gallery artists Nicolette Carter, Trinidad Ball, Veta Gorner, Eileen Martin, Clare Johnson, Steve Yeates, Gill Hickman, Ruty Benjamini and Jo Hodgen are exhibiting work in the Skylark space. It's the perfect chance to drop in, meet some of the artists, and pick up a new, affordable piece of work from the Skylark team.

Skylark is one of more than 50 galleries showing at the fair, which specialises in work that costs less than £3,000. Entry is £5 (£4 concessions), and free for children under 16.
