Competition: Win a Veta Gorner etching

Veta is back from Sweden and busy finishing new work for the upcoming season of art fairs including Affordable Art Fair in London, Amsterdam Art Fair and Edinburgh Art Fair. She has recently started a diary on her web page (www.vetagorner.com) where you can follow her progress and see snippets of new images.

Also on her website : you are invited to participate in Veta's "artist's block" competition.

Veta needs your help! A competition for the best title of a new etching (pictured). The winner of the best title (will be chosen by Veta) will get free entry tickets to the Affordable Art Fair (optional) and an artist proof of the image. A great opportunity to acquire a print from a sought after artist!

The closing day is 19th of October. The winner will be contacted on the 20th of October.

Please log into www.vetagorner.com/competition.html and submit your ideas.

Skylark takes off into blogging!

Welcome all to the new blog for Skylark Galleries!

For those who don't know us, we're a collective of 30 artists who show in 2 galleries on London's southbank and also take part in various art fairs around the country. Skylark 2 Gallery is in the historic OXO Tower, and Skylark 1 Gallery is in the quirky Gabriel's Wharf which is full of artist and designer studios and shops. Our website has all the address and contact details, plus previews of the work by all the artists.

For our existing fans and customers, the blog will be a great place to get up-to-the-minute news, info on events, interviews with the artists, plus the news from individual artists too! The great thing about Skylark is that we all are working artists - so we have shows and happenings separately as well as together as a group.

News about the Chelsea Art Fair (next week!) coming soon, along with your first peek at one of our member artists.

Enjoy!
And don't forget you can subscribe to the blog using the RSS button for a reader, or simply via email using the small form in the side bar to get instant notification whenever there's a new post.
